As defined by OSHA and ANSI regulations, an Authorized Person is simply a worker on a jobsite who will be exposed to existing and potential fall hazards. Guardian Fall Protection’s Authorized Person Class is geared to familiarize these workers with the dangers of fall hazards, as well as the proper adornment, use, care, and maintenance of fall protection equipment.
All workers at a construction site can benefit from Authorized Person training. When working in an industry where even the smallest error has the potential for significant injury and/or death, it is important that everyone be knowledgeable in the best and most current safety regulations.
