Guardian Fall Protection recently completed the acquisition of Qual-Craft Industries, based in Boston, MA. Qual-Craft Industries has been in business for over 50 years specializing in pump jack scaffolding systems, roofing equipment, and other specialty products.

"This acquisition allows Guardian Fall Protection to capitalize upon the niche items available in our current product line such as the Safety Ladder Walk-Through device," said Ed Marquardt, President of Guardian Fall Protection.

"The Qual-Craft name is a strong brand that we will continue to use as we look to accelerate product line expansion and design innovations," adds Marquardt.

Qual-Craft Industries markets its products through hardware stores, wholesale distributors, roofing suppliers, and other retail outlets. Guardian will be adding over 30 new products within the first year of the acquisition to better meet the needs of the small contractor and provide a greater value to its distribution base.
