Lanyards
Lanyards are the most common way to “connect” the worker to their anchor point. Lanyards consist of a length of webbing or cable, a shock absorbing section (or ‘shock pack’), and a hardware connection on either end. The ‘shock pack’ end of the lanyard connects to the back D-ring of your Guardian full body harness and the opposite end of the lanyard connects to your Guardian anchor point.
Guardian Fall Protection offers everything from the standard single leg shock absorbing lanyards to fully-customized lanyards designed to meet your specific jobsite needs. Using a combination of snaphooks, carabiners, webbing, and energy absorbers, there are an almost infinite amount of configurations you can choose from. - Durable, High Strength Webbing |

It is important to make sure you analyze you potential free fall and that your lanyard limits fall forces to 1800 pounds or less.
