The Guardian Fall Team Blog

ESG has experienced significant growth over the past year, much of which has occurred internationally. But local projects always have a special significance for us, which is why we were so pleased when the University of Washington requested our help in designing a fall protection & window washing system for their football stadium, which recently reopened after more than a year of renovations.

Over the course of the first and second quarter of 2013, ESG worked with UW to install over 100 Anchors for both fall protection and window washing purposes, as well as two horizontal lifeline systems.

We also designed custom components to fit the structure’s unique contours, and conducted proof load testing to certify the anchors and ensure the entire system was fully compliant with all applicable safety regulations. These anchors will help ensure work crews are fully protected as they work to maintain their now state-of-the-art stadium.

Now, whether attending a game or just driving through the city, we can all look out and see a Seattle landmark made safer thanks to our efforts.
